Chapter 5 completed, starting work on chapter 6
It took me a few days to get back into the rhythm of writing, but once I did, chapter 5 completed itself relatively quickly. That was the big chapter anyways, which is the most important one of the whole book. This is where we present a variety of methods of changing beliefs.
Considering how much the earlier chapters had grown beyond my original expectation, I was almost surprised to find that chapter 5 came in at just under 40 pages, very close to my original plan. However, I'd like to include a variety of examples of different people using the different techniques, and if I add that in, the chapter will grow by at least 20 pages. I'm also considering having the examples in a separate chapter, but haven't yet decided.
The book now has over 43,000 words and is 140 pages. I expect the finished book to be around 250 pages and 75,000 words. For reference, the Keys To Power - Step by Step course was about 69,000 words, Keys To Power Prosperity was about 30,000 words, and the Keys To Power Persuasion course was around 82,000 words.
Chapter 6 is about focusing our mind and how that helps us to manage our beliefs on a conscious level. I expect this one to be short, only 15 to 20 pages. Chapter 7 should be about the same length and is about controlling our emotions as a way of guiding the expression of our beliefs.
After that, Chapter 8 is focused on bringing it all together and will provide an overview of the full process. This will pretty much be a step by step plan for changing beliefs and manifesting a desired outcome.
And lastly is Chapter 9, the last formal chapter of the book, which is focused on what to do after belief-work to ease the manifestation of results.
The further I get through this project, the quicker the writing goes. Even though I'll be away for a few days next week at my mom's house for our yearly visit, I still think I can finish writing the book before the end of the month. As much as I'd like to be able to have printed copies before Christmas, it just doesn't look to be possible at this point.
We should be able to have printed copies sometime in January, though, and we'll have a BIG celebration when it happens.
