Tell me how my materials have helped you
It's getting close to a year since I originally released my newest book, Choose To Believe to my ezine subscribers. By this time, I'm sure there have been many who have used the material and seen positive results, and I'm also sure there are many others who would love to hear about those results.
So, I'll ask that if you have a story you'd like to share with others, please post it here. Your experience with this material can help a lot of other people, especially if they are unsure about whether to give these ideas a try.
And just to make sure that everything is fair, if you have tried using the information and DIDN'T get the results you wanted, post that too. I'm looking for as much honest feedback and I can get, either positive or negative.

Alan i would have to say that the opposite is true. your work has been in my mind for a loong time since the summer. i have read 'choose to believe' twice now and am just letting it sink in.right now i am going over your audio program to the book. and reading keys to power. just started it. i just finish reading keys to persausion ansd key to power and prosperity. the little insight i gained from keys to power and prosperity makes me want to read keys to power even more now. which i am about to do. as all you clients no, you offer to copy and binder the ebooks for a reasonable cost. i think it was $10 at the time december 2008. it makes reading a whole lot better from the paper instead of off the computer where you have blurry eyes. anyways i have gotten alot out of your material, much wisdom and insight.

Alan, Has your "friend" ever seen the movie "pay it forward?" Somewhat, like, do for others and see what comes back to you? . . . Don't be a stingy _ _ _ _?
It is not the one (1) of your items that has had an impact on my life, but the sheer volume of ALL the items and what they have said: both in quality and quantity. You are a generous and giving person. Some of the things that are on the internet give aways have such strings attached that they should be illegal, and of course, in a way, they are.
If there are a group of people who dis-value something because of how much it costs, or dis-value something because of how much it doesn't cost, or because it has been given away, then the more sad I am for them.
I'll stop writing now, so as to not "fry" your friend too much. I have to apologise to them; they just don't understand. And so, I apologise to your friend. Keep up the good work, Alan.

I bought your book Choose To Believe last spring when it first came out. The book is a gold mine no matter what anyone says. It has plenty of ideas on how to change wrong beliefs. To get results, action is required. I keek going back to the book for refreshers and combine ideas with alpha meditation. I have not changed all my beliefs yet, working on them. This is also very handy references to work with my energy medecine I'm practicing now to heal cancer. And I'm winning. Many thanks.

I have a recurring cancer. I used to be fearfull of the outcome. This time I chose to use energy medecine because I have develop a strong belief that I have within me the power to change the outcome. Instead of fear and accepting chemo and whatever regular oncologists want to prescribe I have enough confidence to say no to these. Herbal, accupunture and energy medecine like EFT and The Healing Codes are all I need with truly changing my negative beliefs. I have put all these in practice and it is working. Changing my beliefs works with other modalities too. I have been biven a death sentence 9 years ago, I'm still here and keep learning and using what works for me. All is part of this healing. I work on healing because it is my priority for now. Your book is part of it, it is not enough to say change your beliefs, I have to know how and why with exemples.

I want to thank everyone for posting their feedback. So far, it seems most who are posting have been subscribers to my newsletter and may not have purchased any of my books or audio programs as yet.
To make sure future visitors understand some of the comments here, I had mentioned to my subscribers that a friend of mine suggested my low prices may have caused people to devalue my work, That was the reason for asking for feedback -- to see how many people have used the materials they've purchased from me.
So far, it seems only a handful of people are reporting that they've used the material, although it's good to hear that they are receiving positive results from doing so.
Hopefully, there will be more comments from people who have actually used the material they've purchased from me. Even so, I want to say that I also do appreciate hearing from my subscribers too, including those who have not yet taken that next step.

Free does not mean cheap
Hi Alan:
I have been receiving your PowerKeys for a few years now and always find something encouraging, empowering and totally appropriate and timely. Ever see how when you think about something you "coincidentally" find validation or find the answer? well Power Keys has been that "See, there it is!" for me several times.
I am also pleased to say I am featured in your great book Choose to Believe which is destined to be a best seller because of all the "great stuff" it contains.
I think your friend makes the common mistake of equating the concepts of price and value. That is something I take great pains to distinguish between personally, and when I speak to others; especially young people (who are often seduced by expensive designer everything).
Because you choose to make aspects of your gifts affordable, that does not in any way make the information cheap or less valuable. In fact, I get alternatively amused and annoyed by gurus who sell everything for $199.99 and say "this is truly a $2,000 value". I should not judge, but I honestly tend to tune out and bypass those offers.

Values are subjective

Thanks for your comments. I agree that the true value of something cannot always be measured by the price placed on it. Although, as you say, it's a common mistake made by many people.
I also sometimes feel "amused and annoyed" by those who place artificially high values on things, especially bonuses they give away. Of course, the other side of this is that you have to consider whether they are referring to a price they could actually sell their stuff for, or if they are trying to determine a "real value" that a person can (or will) get from using the product.
In this field, it's very difficult to determine a "real value" for what we offer. What price would you place on peace of mind, or happiness, or improving the relationships you have with the people around you? In many cases, these things are worth far more than most people could afford to spend.
And while some folks would say that the answer to these questions are all around us, there is also a lot of nonsense, and the value of what we offer is in separating the answers from the nonsense. If it takes someone 50 hours of research to find the answer to their problem, and they value their time at $10 per hour, then the answer was worth $500 to them.
And if it takes someone 1000 hours to find an answer to a problem, and they value their time at even $20 per hour, then the answer was worth $20,000 to them. If someone else value their time at $50 per hour, then the same answer was worth $50,000 to that 2nd person.
So what is worth $200 to one person, may easily be worth $2,000 to someone else.
And in this regard, I'd have to say that the answers I wrote about in the Choose To Believe book were worth (at a minimum) $150,000, since I've invested a lot of hours during the last 25 years into finding those answers.
