How to change your password
I have just received a question regarding how to change a password in the new system. Here are the instructions for anyone else that may need them:
I am assuming that you've already registered an account in the new software, because any account you had previously will no longer work unless a new account is created.
Once you've registered an account in the new software, here is how you go about changing your password:
1) Log in using the login form on any page or by going to http://www.AlanTutt.com/user/login
2) Once logged in, you will either be on the same page as before (via the login block), or you will be on your account profile page (via the URL above). If already on the profile page, skip step 3.
3) Click on the link in your personal menu (below the Main Menu on the left) that says 'My Account'.
4) Near the top of the page, right under your username, you should see a set of tabs across the screen. The second one says "Edit". Click that tab to bring up an edit form where you can change any details associated with your account profile.
If you have any trouble with any of the above steps, please let me know.
One thing that may need to be addressed is that the new software will usually 'collapse' certain sections of a form, and you need to click the section heading to open it up again. I understand this may be confusing if you don't expect it. In general, if you see an arrow next to a link, that means that you will uncover more choices when you click that link.
